Privacy policy
Livets Ord is committed to protecting your privacy. You should always feel safe when you entrust us with your personal data. With this policy, we want to show how Livets Ord processes personal data, how your right to protection of your personal data is safeguarded by us and how you can exercise your rights. The privacy policy is designed based on the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation, often referred to as GDPR, for Livets Ord.
The background
We process your personal data primarily to fulfill our obligations to you. Our starting point is not to process more personal data than is necessary for the purpose, and we always strive to use the least privacy-sensitive data.
The obligations we have towards you depend on your relationship with us. Examples of relationships are: parishioner, member of a book club, subscriber, monthly donor, traveler on one of our trips, visitors to our conferences and events, etc.
Part of our processing of personal data is to send you information. If you want to opt out of receiving information, there are instructions for this in the material sent to you.
Guidelines for processing
We process personal data when we have a legal basis, see next section, to fulfill our commitments to you and what the law requires.
Depending on the relationship you have with us, we process different personal data, these include:
Name
Your address
Email address
Telephone number
Your age
Social security number
Gender
User name
Pictures
Billing information
Custom information, such as information you add to apps like Planning Center and Telegram
How do we get access to your personal data?
The personal data we hold about you has been provided to us by you in some way. This could be when you sign up for a trip, a camp, a book club, apply to become a member, volunteer, etc. If you no longer want us to process your personal data, you can contact us and we will remove it. This will also end the obligations we have towards you.
What information do we give you?
When you provide us with your data, you will also receive information about what we will use it for, your rights under the GDPR and how to contact us if you have any questions.
Is your personal data processed in a secure way?
We have good security for our systems and continuously review security to ensure it is always at a high level. Those who work with personal data can only see the people they are entitled to see. We have several policies on how employees should work with personal data.
Where personal data is processed by a supplier, we have data processing agreements with them to ensure that they handle your personal data securely.
