Israel - the center of our faith
Israel and the Jewish people are the root system of our faith. Israel is the historical place where the events of the Bible took place, and almost all biblical authors and main figures were Jews. According to Jesus, salvation comes from the Jewish people, and Jerusalem is the place of His return.
Through an awareness of our Jewish heritage and the development of modern Israel in the midst of a hostile environment, we seek to combat antisemitism and uphold friendship with Israel and the Jewish people.
Our history with Israel
Word of Life teaches about our Jewish roots and God’s faithfulness to the Jewish people. We highlight Israel’s situation today, where trips to Israel serve as an important eye-opener. The gathering of the people back to their original homeland, Israel, is a fulfillment of biblical promises.
When over a million Soviet Jews moved to Israel in the 1990s, Word of Life invested significant resources through Operation Jabotinsky to support this immigration.
